Cory West
Cory migrated from Boston in 2012 after completing a B.M. in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music, where he focused on playing guitar and performing in original music projects around the New England area. He has also been gigging and recording as a Bassist and Drummer for the past three years, with 10+ years of prior experience on each instrument respectively. When he's not teaching at SOR he spends his time working with his band, LiquidLight while also deriving great joy from coming up with terrible jokes and puns that put a smile (and sometimes a frown) on the faces of his co-workers and students. -
Tiana Jimenez-Srisook
My name is Tiana Jimenez-Srisook, I am a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and audio engineer from Los Angeles. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Audio Design & Production at Columbia College Chicago and have engineered, performed, produced, written music and worked alongside musicians and engineers all over the country. I am a lover of all things analog, lo-fi, or unreleased and you can usually find anything from Zappa to Japanese funk to AfroCuban to old country music on my record shelf. As a former School of Rock All Star, I am happy to be teaching guitar, bass, and drums to the next generations of music makers. A fun fact about me: I once toured with an all-female Metallica tribute band Misstallica as Kirk Hammett! I LOVE to cook and spend most of my non-musical brain power thinking about food and new recipes. My favorite foods are my family’s traditional cuisines: Thai and Argentine. I’m a huge X-Files nerd and my favorite movies to watch over and over again are Spirited Away, Harold and Maude, and The Hunger.
